Here are the top 5 reasons why Take Flight is true to Parkour and always will be:
We have been considered “The Official Clothing of Parkour” since we received the endorsement of Parkour founder David Belle in 2010. We no longer work with him, but the title still lingers and we consider it not only an honor but a huge responsibility. It influences everything we do and keeps our focus off ourselves and on the bigger picture.
Our owner get paid a super small salary to work full time for the company. It’s basically, less than minimum wage… which isn’t actually legal except he is the owner so apparently it is lol! His outlook has always been “community and team first.” Think about that one for a second.
Every penny that is brought in to Take Flight is turned right back around and put back into the development of new clothing and shoes for the PKFR community and sponsorships for our international team. It’s a cycle and what comes in from the community goes right back out to serve it better.
We believe in true Parkour – Parkour by David Belle passed down / inspired from his father Raymond Belle. No other definition, explanation, or story will do. We stand behind this and always will.
We were the world’s first Parkour clothing company when we started in 2008, and we still do it for the love of the discipline.
